Six Chinese manufacturers brought electric trucks to the IAA in Hannover this month. Tesla launched the European Semi at the same show. Europe built a wall against Chinese electric vehicles, but for passenger cars only. Chinese electric trucks come through the gap beside it. That gap decides who sells a European fleet manager its next electric truck. It will not close for the reason most people expect.
