SAF PRODUCTION PROJECT

Brazilian feedstock,

European market.

SAF is rapidly evolving from a niche innovation to a core pillar of aviation’s climate strategy. MVAventures is currently developing a first of a kind SAF production project in Brazil.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Europe needs SAF.
Brazil has,

Everything else.

The global aviation sector is under immense pressure to decarbonize, with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) at the center of this transformation.

Brazil has 140 million hectares of degraded pastureland, year-round tropical yields, established port infrastructure, and a government that actively supports biomass-to-fuel development.

90%

Potential lifecycle CO₂ reduction vs conventional jet fuel — using Brazil’s proven bio digestion pathway

2%→70%

ReFuelEU SAF blending mandates: 2% today, rising to 70% by 2050 — structured, growing, guaranteed demand

140M ha

Degraded Brazilian pastureland available for compliant biomass — not forest, not food land

BACKGROUND

SAF, derived from renewable feedstocks such as agricultural waste, algae, and power-to-liquid technologies, offers up to an 95% reduction in lifecycle CO2 emissions compared to traditional jet fuel. Despite its promise, scaling SAF production remains a challenge. Europe has positioned itself as a global leader in addressing these challenges, leveraging regulatory frameworks and international collaboration to drive SAF adoption and production

WHAT WE ARE DEVELOPING

In this light, MVAventures is currently developing a SAF production project in Brazil, with the aim to export SAF to NW Europe. For more details, please see the presentation:
